The company: Posh Nosh Marlborough Ltd has enjoyed continual steady growth to the extent that we out-grew our original site! Following an extensive search for a larger property with plenty of space to operate and grow Posh Nosh, as well as meeting the needs of our very active family, we discovered our 1920s Mud brick house on the main street of Renwick right in the middle of the Marlborough wine region. The house and extensive garaging with office and large parking area at the rear was a great start. The construction of our purpose built registered commercial kitchen, the creation of a large potager garden and the planting of several citrus trees completes a fantastic environment where we are fortunate to be able to operate our busy company while still being part of our family's day. As Posh Nosh Marlborough Ltd have our own chiller truck and portable operations unit which contains all our prep, cooking, service and wash-up equipment including the kitchen sink and an on-board hot water system, we are able to operate pretty much anywhere in the greater Marlborough area.

Leanne Wilson

Leanne Wilson returned to New Zealand after living in Australia, during which time she worked extensively in the hospitality industry, including high profile positions at Ansett Airlines, British Airways and for the Concord.

Her interest and detailed food knowledge was developed while working as a food buyer in the famous Food Hall at David Jones, Sydney.

She then concentrated on service and front of house, joining the team at the Sydney Opera House where she worked her way through management levels to become Operations Co-ordinator.

Duties included maintaining the day to day running of the six restaurants, fourteen bar outlets and the function department, coordinating themed and special outdoor catering events for large numbers in and around the Opera House. Leanne became an accredited trainer for Hospitality Excellence working extensively throughout Australia.

Arriving back in Christchurch she and her partner Steve managed a large hotel / motel complex before returning to Marlborough. After working locally for a number of years and seeing a niche in the local market, she decided to return to her passion of food entertaining and catering and they set-up Posh Nosh Marlborough Ltd.
